That’s why we are so thrilled to share that Metrolinx is partnering with AccessNow, to share up-to-date accessibility information on public locations.
Metrolinx now provides validated accessibility information on GO Transit and UP Express stations listed on the AccessNow app, so users know what to expect when planning a trip.
Expert mappers from AccessNow conducted reviews based on their lived experiences, and users can now delve into this valuable insight, covering 67 Metrolinx stations.
Transit riders across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton region can search for and contribute their own reviews to stations with specific accessibility features, as well as discover accessible places nearby.
The app is free to download in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Metrolinx is working to reduce barriers on transit, making it safer, easier and more convenient to travel throughout the region.
