BRAMPTON, ON (August 8, 2022) – The City of Brampton has partnered with AccessNow to highlight accessible City facilities in the community.
Brampton is a Mosaic, and the City is dedicated to identifying opportunities to increase accessibility and a strong sense of belonging for all. AccessNow is an app available on Google Play and the Apple App Store that allows users to discover accessible locations in 35 countries around the world. Through this partnership, residents will be able to search, rate and discover accessible City facilities including trails, parks, recreation centres and more.
Residents will also be able to search, rate and discover local restaurants, hotels, shops and attractions on AccessNow. Brampton businesses are encouraged to add their accessibility information to the app here.
