Identity

Overview

Identities allow you to configure the from addresses that are available when you compose a new email. It also allows you to attach a signature to each from address, and choose which address will be the default.

Adding an Identity

Click “Add an Identity to bring up the above form.

Enter the name that you want to appear on outgoing emails.

Enter the email address that you want to appear as the from address. You can enter any email, but note that you will not get the responses unless the alias is hosted at your account.

Enter a signature if you’d like one.

You can also check the “Set as default.” When you compose a new message, the default one will be selected. When you reply to a email, it will attempt to find the select one based on address the email was sent to.

If you want your signature to be automatically added to your outgoing emails, check “Auto Append.”

Click “Add an Identity” to finalize the creation.

Removing an Identity

Select the appropriate radio button, and click the “Delete” button.

Changing the Default Identity

Select the radio button next to the identity that you want to make the default.

Click Edit.

Check “Set as default.”

Click “Save Identity.”
